Reach of the UIC system
Strengths of program include the dynamic University of Illinois system that includes four rural regional sites in addition to the central Chicago campus. Disseminating this proposed educational program across all UIC sites has the potential to improve care in both urban and rural underserved areas. Existing support for culturally diverse student recruitment enhances the likelihood of a diverse student population.
