- Choose a module by reviewing the menu of topics, reading the overview summaries and learning objectives
- Click on “Register Here”
- Complete the module by watching the film and answering embedded assessment questions
- Complete post-evaluation survey and receive CEUs. The CE certificate will be emailed to you within 3 weeks of completing the learning module
- Take more modules!
You will receive your continuing education credit letter by email within 3 weeks. The continuing education credit letters will be available automatically directly from our learning management system summer, 2017.
Following accepted social work practice, all social work users should contact their state regulatory body to ensure CEU endorsement for their state. In this case, we have already secured endorsement for IL users. If you're not an Illinois resident, we encourage you to contact your state regulatory body.
Yes, you may certainly share our free continuing education modules with your colleagues or your students! We encourage you to invite everyone in your professional network to view our modules, whether they need continuing educational credit or not.
By winter of 2017, there will be a total of 32 learning modules on geriatric topics offering free continuing education credits for medicine, nursing, pharmacy, occupational therapy and social work. Learners may take one or all the modules.
Additionally, we have created "Dementia Guide Expert for families," a free Mobile App designed as a resource about dementia. Developed by geriatric content experts, our goal is to educate older adults, caregivers, families, clinicians and staff about dementia and provide dementia positive advice and resources. The free app is available for iOS (Apple App Store) and for Android (on Google Play).
