ENHANCEMENT OF GERIATRIC CARE FOR ALL

About ENGAGE-IL

Welcome to ENGAGE-IL, an interprofessional, collaborative education and practice initiative to enhance care of older adults by The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

The education and training materials developed through this project are intended to enhance the ability and skills of healthcare providers and empower patients and caregivers to optimize patient- and family-centered care for the growing older adult population in urban and rural Illinois, the nation, and globally.

We are creating and disseminating a sustainable online Interprofessional (IP) Geriatric Program, to expand health professionals’ knowledge and competence integrating geriatrics into primary care, preparing clinicians to work in IP teams and provide high-quality, patient-centered care to older adults.
